Please share your experience and photos if you have them! I am loving this look and concept. Already ordered some red grape caulerpa

I am planning on just keeping a simple soft coral tank so they should benefit from this environment, right?

Thanks!

I have a little too much macro in DT, but it does provide many benefits! More space for pods/ micro fauna to hide / cover. Food for inverts, I’m currently doing a 3 day fast for the tank so they can eat what they got lol

I prune the caulerpa weekly otherwise it would take over the entire tank , I think you should check out live-plants.com to order some macro , I loved dragons breath but it’s also my snails fav meal as I learned haha

I tried getting dragonsbreath to take hold in the dt, but my snails and urchins slowly destroyed it over a year

Here is my display:

I am dosing ChaetoGro daily and PhytoPlex four times a week, as well as performing weekly 10% water changes. Hikari Algae Wafers are fed sporadically.

Already ordered some red grape caulerpa
Good choice! Remember that this algae is not actually a member of the Caulerpa genus (it just looks like one, instead it belongs to the Botryocladia genus).

Some good sources for macroalgae:
Addictive Reef Keeping
AlgaeBarn
Alyssa's Seahorse Savvy
eBay
Etsy
Gulf Coast Ecosystems
Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratories
Indo-Pacific Sea Farms
KP Aquatics
LiveAquaria
Reef Cleaners
Rusalty

Awesome! Yes, I often saw it named red grape botryocladia. I couldn't figure out why it went by the 2 names. Good to know it is definitely considered botryocladia. And yes, I got mine on Etsy! I am really excited about it. Thank you for all of those other sources!
