Do y’all know anywhere I can get this fish? It’s been out of stock at LiveAquaria forever!

You'll see them on divers den frequently, even as bonded pairs which can be cool. You may even get lucky by asking your lfs if they can get it for you. I searched over a year for the guys in the pic, was on every email list, in a casual conversation with my friend at the lfs, he got me this trio. Right now with everything going on, the cost of freight, uncommon fish are a rare find.

Do your research on this fish, they are very misunderstood. They are a scorpionfish, not a goby. They are sedentary and very cryptic, so you may rarely see them outside of their perch.

A TRIO?! That’s incredible!!! Yes sir I’ve done my research. I have extensive experience handling lion fish (although not to your degree) and am prepared to target feed them even live guy loaded ghosties if need be until they accept frozen foods. Even then I’ll still supplement at least a couple times a month with live foods just to make sure they’re getting a complete diet. I’ll definitely check with my LFS thank you!

I’m giving this a bump because I need some help y’all. I’ve just realized that I’m planning on a lot of anemones (I already have bubble tips and RFA, planning on several mini maxi in the future) since these are a slow moving fish will they be okay?? Will the anemones harm them?? I would feel awful if I put a croucher in and it was harmed or killed by one of my anemones.

New listings go on around 3pst or before, I cant remember, you can get an email alert with a sneak peak list. Now that these showed up, you'll see them often for a while. Some fish will show up seasonally, this is probably their time.

Thank you! I’m a little concerned for the safety of my new clowns (they are less than 1”) but I have an unmedicated QT tank I can put either the clowns or the coral crouchers in if I feel like the crouchers pose any type of threat to the clowns. Since the crouchers only grow to a size of 2”, I’m not overly concerned about it but I can separate the clowns to grow them out for a while if need be. Here’s a couple pics with zoa frags for size reference, they are very tiny!

Good rule I never follow it
I wish I didn’t have to, but my dad is also a reefer and always thinks the coolest fish are the worst ideas :(. He’s still got that 1980s mindset of if it doesn’t live on the bare minimum care, it won’t live.
