Can they be added right away to a tank or do you need to wait.

Thanks

What do you mean by having to wait?
My mangroves, I just get them and in the tank they go.
Make sure you don’t damage their root system and also spray the leaves to rid the salt creep that collects there.

I wasn’t sure if the tank had to be established first. I was thinking of trying to grow a few of them tall and putting them in the DT. Is there a trick to getting the roots to spread out?

Mine are doing well and they really love the nutrients in my tank. One of my mangrove plants is 4 feet tall in my 14 gallon Biocube! Pretty soon I will have to move out of my place as my other mangroves are also growing very fast.
How old is your tank? Miracle mud is a good product that helps mangroves thrive also.

In the process of setting it up. I was thinking of spreading the roots out something like this.
