Have a tridacnid derasa clam that is about 6-8 inches and was doing good until now. Looks like mantle is not expanding, clam is open and siphons are open tho, didn’t know if this is a normal behavior ? Water parameters have been stable
All 9.4

Was thinking of doin a ICP test. Any different in the different companies or all basically the same ?
Thanks

Can you post a picture of the clam.
Lights are on the way down, not the best pics, will try for some better ones

That clam is slightly retracted which is normal for clams as the light go down. It does have new growth on the shells which indicated that it is growing fine recently.
Was he retracted like this during the day? How long?
How long have you had him? How about other clams in the system? How are they?

It is the only one I have , and probably had it about 1.5 months. Noticed the retraction today pretty much all day...
