Hi everyone. Thinking of becoming a member but have a pretty stringent work schedule with no weekends off. What days are meetings and events usually held on? Also, would the meetings be difficult for someone vision impaired? (IE slideshow or video presentations)

Meetings are generally on the weekends, mixed between Saturdays and Sundays. It wouldn't be difficult to host a couple of casual get-togethers during the week, think like a reef club happy hour. @Good_vibes_reefing would be the best contact for that.

Every meeting has a different feel and agenda. There are some presentations that are more visual. Others are just a speaker, or a "field trip" to a location like Credible Coral Lab.

I will say that it's difficult to not get $20 of value out of the club over the course of the year, with member discounts at events, Fragtoberfest, etc. I probably saved over $100 just in discounts at events last year (like 15% off live stock sales at Wet Pets for CTARS members during an event, for example).

Plus, it's a good crew of folks sharing something they all love. :)
