MERMAIDS on animal planet.

Interesting show. Wonder what will be publicly caught first now, bigfoot or mermaids??

I just wish the video "evidence" didn't look so hoaky, because the historical evidence seems interesting.

Agreed, based on the witness accounts and photos i believe it. The video evidence seemed CG, but the spears looked strait from Atlantis. It wouldn't be hard for them to hide either, the Govt taking away all evidence in south africa and the US sold it for me.

I have to be frank it was pseudo-science one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen on Animal Planet...it was to Animal Planet what Ancient Aliens is to the History Channel. WHile it may have been entertaining I despise the way they present the circumstantial evidence.

I was definitely waiting on Giorgio Tsoukalos to chime in at some point...

I believe in them, I just think that the show was BSing most of it. I don't believe that the government would be hiding another humanoid life form, that's just rediculous. If the government didn't want us to know about it then they wouldn't have let them make the movie in the first place. The video footage on the kids phone was fake, "okay so I'm poking the thing, it's moving, I'm just going to stand here and look good for the camera..." If a hand on a weird creature started to move I'd run away as fast as I could! If the other evidence about the body, with the pelvic bone, the hand, and the recreation of the skull was real, that would be really cool but, because I believe they faked quite a bit of the show I don't know what is real and what is fake.

Besides the movie, there is so much evidence, so many cultures saw beings or mermaids that they must've been real. The only question I have about them is are they endangered and are they extinct already?

LOL! My daughter was just asking me about this! She wants so much to believe there are mermaids!! She's 13 BTW!

The video i posted wasnt animal planet And for some reason they were trying to say disney was trying to keep under it wraps lol although the video is interesting they never get clear shots of one anyway, as if they would use a camera phone quality camcorder for something that intense.

I've come to the realization that from all myths lie some truth, its especially seems plausible there may be some humanoid see creatures due to the fact that all cultures from the world somehow reference them in their texts and scripts, its kinda the same thing with dragons. We dont really believe in them today however every ancient culture references them in some way shape or form, kinda makes ya wonder huh? :) as for the government, they probably would hide it, because they hide all the cool stuff lol. Also as a side note the ocean is a massive place, giant squid use to be a myth as well until they started washing up on shore and being captured in nets. So with that being said, who knows

its just a bunch of people trying to make a buck feeding off of what other people want to be true. there is no big foot, lochness monster or mermaids.

I don't see why a missing link couldn't have evolved in the ocean instead of land but wouldn't they benmore kown than just myths
