mh to t5 switch and i hate it

6 months ago i switch from mh to t5s went from 2 250 watt mh to 8 56 watt t5s
just cant get it down does anybody have the same problem?
i think i am going back to mh for sure

What is the problem? I have a 75 with 8-T5's, always have had t-5's and have never had a problem. Here are a couple of pictures of my tank.
And yes that is a clam and I have had it for over a year now. I can tell you that it takes some time for things to get used to it but they will.

why you got a setup of bulbs you like
i like the 20k look

I use a lot of blue + with aquablue special and fiji purple. Add some LEDs and you're set!

Yes the type of bulb and brands is very important. This combo turns out very nice for me.

i have the same problem, so i went back to MH + 2 t5blue and im happy again. and u dont need to put the sps all the way to the top

T5s can be just as powerful as metal halides with good reflectors, and a quality bulb choice. Some people have noticed better growth and color..
