Mine are coming today glad to hear there’s a cool pack lolJust got my delivery from @CherryCorals. I am really looking forward to seeing how these look in the tank. ups decided to take there time delivering so water and container was really warm. The cool pack helped some. Could only imagine if it wasnt there. Corals look ok for now and are acclimating for temp.
Hopefully you either live in a cool place or they deliver it early. I live in FL and I didnt get until 730 pm. You can see temp pics above. But corals seem to be ok. Cool pack definetly helped.Mine are coming today glad to hear there’s a cool pack lol
Thank you. There is actually a competition vor these starting soon you can get in on. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/unofficial-mini-complete-tank-contest.849652/page-5#post-9305464 . its actually not a cup, more of a container. It was all includes in the purchase and part of design. But it is definetly unique.Following this, because it's the coolest thing!
I've never seen such a small tank before, let alone a reef tank! The fact that you are using a plastic cup as a sump is mind blowing lol
Rge only mod I did was swapping out sponges and their filter inserts. Also addded tube for return in main display. The media is nano chemo pure and I believe blue is the specific version. There is media and stuff that comes along with it but wanted to start using this. I posted in reply before this of competition link for these if you want to join. I cant unless I break it down to be fair to others but dont want to do so so following that one as well.Following too!! I see you have modded the sump, forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what's the media in the bag squished between the acrylic?
Chicago area, definitely not cool I don’t think anywhere is cooling off this week!!Hopefully you either live in a cool place or they deliver it early. I live in FL and I didnt get until 730 pm. You can see temp pics above. But corals seem to be ok. Cool pack definetly helped.
Time for a tank cleaning as diatoms are showing and needs a water change as well as adding Tisbe pods from algagendirect picked up at madreefercorals .
Also home goods has charges. You can go with regular square or find the natural wood with bark. They also sell these at other stores to. Not the ones that comes with the tank that is.I can't find the bamboo tray anywhere in stock so I'm canvassing my wood scraps stash to see if I can find something suitable.
That looks really good. You could get corner wire runners to hide the cords. You could even plumb it to the main eventually lol. Let me know how the temps go.So I measured about 5 cups water with no rock or sand, so I'm testing 4 cups in a plastic container. I have the light on and pump to see what my room temp will be. The micro heater I have is 7.5w and I think it'll still be too big. I might have to buy the cunzo one. I did notice that it has a low/med/high switch which is cool.
Then I cleared the shelf above my 20g. The tank looks so small, it's adorable.
Currently seeing how high the heater will make this, it's at 80.6 so far. Definitely too strongThat looks really good. You could get corner wire runners to hide the cords. You could even plumb it to the main eventually lol. Let me know how the temps go.
80 isnt to bad its when it gets to 83 I would worry. But some corals live in temps up to 86. I don't recomend though lolCurrently seeing how high the heater will make this, it's at 80.6 so far. Definitely too strong
Yeah, that is a really warm temp. Hopefully the other one works out better for you. Let me knows.83?! Ha, my heater is at 85.6 and climbing. These must not have any preset temp... will be looking to order the cunzo one.
