Moving mushrooms

Hello everyone!

I'm wondering how one moves a mushroom coral from a rock? I'm not even sure where to start...Do you cut it close to the base and stick it to a frag plug (or somewhere else)?

I've never tried to move one before.

what i see usually done is they'll try and break the rock so the foot is still attached, then glue to rock side to a plug and monitor before selling/trading.
