How do you judge the difference between the aquamaxx and the Tunze 9004 both aesthetically and performance wise? I'm sure the aquamaxx is way better performance wise but it looks like it could be a bit of an eyesore.

So the Aquamaxx is ******! it works wonders and is sooo much easier to clean then the 9004 was. Yes it more visible but my corals distract your eye from it. I would rather have something work better then look better. Especially on an AIO where everything is visible. BUT!!! its not a huge eyesore i personally like the look of it!

Have you had big issues with the back chambers getting gunked up quickly ? I felt like I was consistently vacuuming the chambers out attempting to solve algae issues

How did you set up your chaeto reactor ?

So my refugium in the back chamber was never productive. Nothing grew and it was not beneficial. I put a pump in the back left chamber and ran it to an Aquamaxx Reactor with Red and Blue LED's.
