Mushroom Toadstool at right angle.

I am new to saltwater. I bought a Toadstool Mushroom on December 12. It seems to spend quite a bit of time at right angles. Is this normal? It bends and straightens daily. In the 5 minutes from when I took the picture, its still at the angle but all the , not sure what they are called, polyps, have fully extended. I just have the base in the sand bed. Any advice would be appreciated.

My try move it to the rocks if it is leaning it may do better on the rocks.

Thanks I will move it. Do they normally do this? Now it is standing up straight again.

It will straighten itself.
