Great looking tank!! I have blue throat trigger too. Just love his personality. Is yours a female or sub-male? I see the blue throat, but no yellow trim around the fins.

It is a male. I had him for a while w/o a female so he lost his yellow trim. I bought a female for him and he is starting to get his yellow back.

Beautiful tank. I love the way it shades on each side. What powerheads are you using and whats your light combo?

I am using 2 Rio Hyperflow 32HF's for return pumps which alternate flow direction as well as overlap for turbulence. I am also using 2 koralia 3's (which I will upgrade to the newer controllable ones when the bugs are worked out.) My lighting is all T5 with 6x54 watt ATI bulbs. 2- 12K Daylight Plus, 2- Blue Plus, 2 Pure Actinic. I'm thinking of adding one more Blue Plus or an Aquablue. I also plan on moving to controllable LED's in the near future. I am currently testing some out on a couple other tanks. If it pans out I'll switch on my 180 as well. I like the shading as well, it gave me a good opportunity to aquascape things more like nature. The further out you go the less light the corals need. Down to sponges, gorgonians, and various sun polyps (which are open all the time due to it never being super bright on the ends. It's also nice because my nocturnal fish are out in the day as well.

I haven't updated this thread in forever so I thought I'd post some new photos. Let me know what you think.
