CapnMorgan's 180G Mixed Reef

I'm new to the site but I thought I'd start things off by posting a couple photos of my tank. I've had this reef up and running for over a while now but recently up-sized to a 180 gallon when I ran out of room in my last tank. It is full of over 70 varieties of coral and 20+ different species of fish. Everything from Anthias to Wrasses and everything in between. Enjoy.

180 Gallon AGA Dual Overflow Tank
75 Gallon Acrylic DIY Sump
37 Gallon RPD Refugium
ATB 1040 Cone Skimmer (1500gph, 90+scfm)
Double Helix 36 watt UV Sterilizer
Phosban reactor w/ carbon
Total display circulation: 8000gph
Controller: Reefkeeper Elite
Lighting: 6x54 watt ATI T5's (soon to add 2 PAR 38 LED fixtures w/ 80 degree optics)
Calcium Reactor in the works

Welcome aboard!

Thanks for sharing the tank. I love your wrasses. Please post more specs. How much light do you have over it?

Are you keeping the angler and trigger in your reef? Beautiful reef by the way and with great variety.

The angler is actually in a small tank connected to this system so he's part of the reef without being in it. My trigger has never bothered anyone, and in fact get's bossed around by my tangs. He is a complete pushover LOL. I have a few fairy wrasses. I have a solon's fairy wrasse, mystery wrasse, and an un-named fairy wrasse. I also have a christmas wrasse, hawaiian cleaner wrasse, leopard wrasse, radiant wrasse, and will be adding a pair of hawaiian flame wrasses. I'm glad everyone likes it, it's been my project for quite a while now.
