Hi I am new here. A little back ground on me in the hobby. I have been reefing since around 2008 maybe late 2007. I started with a 20H no sump, PC lighting, HOB filter and cheap skimmer. With the goal of just keeping softies and fish. I quickly discovered sps and have not looked back. My 20H got a 10g sump and better skimmer as well as a 150w MH o better keep sps. A new free 29g was my first tank upgrade. I ran the 29 gallon for a while as a mixed reef slowly learning about sps. Then it was up to a 55g with 20L sump and 2 150w MH sps reef. After a move I sold off the 55g and all the corals and fish. I was reefless for about 5 months and missed the hobby. I kept the lighting and skimmer from the 55g with plans to build another tank. Now comes in my 40B sps tank. I built the stand and drilled the tank for the overflow. Sump is a 20L it had a fuge but I took it out. The current lighting is a 250w MH 20k and skimmer is a Octopus NW110. I also have a 6 gallon Nano Cube with softies and LPS. Now for some pics of my sps tank.
