How many gyres do you have? And are they the 130 or 150

The gyres seem to push a wide volume of water
Compare to a mp40.
The mp40 pushes a large volume of water but a narrow column.
The acros respond to correct water flow.
Too much will kill it

OH mate if you have auto immune issues in our country from our experience you are screwed. Drs are useless and the medical industry is about making money only.
Wifey is on the improve. It turned out to be silicone toxicity from an implant causing autoimmune problems as well as neurological issues.
The tank has certainly been a great distraction.

Glad to here your wife is on the mend. yeah gp's are a nightmare, my specialist is good tho. Reef keeping is a great distraction, almost to much of a distraction haha. I want to rescape my tank but at the same time I want to leave it. That's awesome that your snowflake clowns are getting jiggy with it.

Yes I'm using Balling light method
25 ml trace element per 5L just as the instructions
I'm running the colour element set
And reef vitality

Thanks for the info. Are you running Fauna Marin soda ash and calcium 2 part or are you using something else. I am currently using BRS two part and use 6ml of trace 1 and 2 in the calcium and 20ml of trace 3 in the alkalinity. It just seems really conservative since Fauna Marin says to add the 25ml of each for the balling light method.

I also wanted to make sure I understood you correctly, so you use the trace 1,2, and 3 as well as the color elements and the reef vitality? Whatever you are using is obviously working because your tank is amazing. Thanks again for the info
