Beautiful! I want one really bad, now to just convince the wife... At first it was easy to sneak a frag in every now and then; unfortunately, now she has gotten smart and counted everything...lol

Thanks but I’m afraid my Trachyphyllias days are numbered.. it had arrived upside down in the bag and suffered some minor damage during shipping from its skeletal ridges cutting through the flesh in one spot, I was confident it would heal but damaged area has now grown substantially and it’s no longer inflating :( I contacted LA today and waiting for a response, hopefully they will cover it with their 14 day guarantee.

Oh that's not good [emoji17]. Hopefully, they get back to you quickly. I hear about these issue a lot and it makes me nervous to have anything shipped. Good luck!

stopped by our local reef shop today to pick up a few things and they had some beautiful new John Deere Leptastrea in their frag display.. I figured what the heck, time for my first coral purchase for the new tank :D low light easy to maintain and it already looks better with more polyp extension in my tank than it did in theirs

Bleh... but good luck with the warrantee being covered. From what I've heard LA is good for it. What's ur next option for replacment?

Sorry guys running behind with my thread from the holiday, lots of catching up to do...

They did a great job packing the coral probably was ruff handled by shipping company.. typically I wouldn’t buy something like that mail order as I have a couple great LFS near me but it was a freebie so I figured what the heck;)

lol.. I have always loved the colors of John deer tractors so first time I saw one I just had to have it! it’s encrusting nicely I’ll post up a new pic later.

Wasn’t sweating it to much since it was free :p LA issued me a credit though after some back and forth as they didn’t want to cover it because it’s wasn’t completely dead, told the guy I would pull it from tank and kill it if it would make him feel better  Not sure what I’ll get as a replacement their selection and quality has really went down hill lately but sure I’ll find something :D

my refugium is getting nice and funky from lack of maintenance ;) Currently just a place for outcast critters but if I ever can get my nutrients up I plan to have a little macro algae in there.

Took a cutting from my gorgonian for the new tank, probably not it’s permanent location but seems happy

Mama gorgi still needs some more pruning, the one branch in foreground is just breaking the waters surface

So something keeps pulling all my acan frags from my garden and piling them nice and neatly on the other side of my tank  have no idea what’s doing it but I’m assuming a crab and a big one at that.. this happened 3 days in a row and the last time it was only like 20 minutes since I had looked at tank only to return to a uprooted garden :( I positioned several of the frags temporarily on rock work and moved the frag holder a little bit a few days ago and so far they have been left alone.. Good news is my acans seem oblivious to it all and continue growing nicely :D My green one recently decided to join the baby making boom..

What's ur current fish list?

There are a lot of fish who have been know to rearrange frags

Don’t think it’s my fish never seen them messing with anything and not sure any of them would be capable of carrying frags across tank.. I have a clown, 2 chromes and a couple damsels. I should set up a cam and see what’s going on when I’m not looking.. lol

I have them in my cube end until the little tank is set back up, I've heard of a few tanks needing a re set due to them, keep an eye on them spreading.

I thought I had read in your journal that you also had them, I actually like them but that rock they are on will stay on sand bed away from my main rock structures to prevent spreading.. first sign of them being naughty and off to sump they will go;)

Looking lovely. We have a leopard gecko too. I built him a fancy habitat that he can run from me though and he has become less tame. I am gonna fix that this winter. lol.

Thanks Victoria:) My Addy would love to see a picture of your gecko, she is on R2R daily and is looking for a boyfriend :D
