Nursing Randal back to health when he was 1 yo. The gloves gave me confidence when handling him. Don't need them anymore. :)

What a cutie :D Love his colors, I better keep addy away from this thread :p .. nice looking enclosure it’s very natural, we are still just using a 5 gallon with paper towels covering the bottom along with her hide and a couple rocks and oh and her bathroom which is a little jar laying on its side with a piece of paper towel in it, she has done her business in the same spot in that jar since we bought her home over a year ago so her enclosure stays spotless which is a pleasant change from other reptiles I have had in the past.. thank you for sharing :)

May I suggest that you put a FTS on the first page, and updated occasionally. [emoji16]

Thanks for the suggestion! I finally took the time to add FTS to my first post :)

So I’m about to start dosing 2 part as I’m struggling to keep calcium above 400 by just dripping Kalkwasser, not sure why except I’m battling a pelage of Spirorbid Worms I have scraped literally hundreds of them off my glass in the last few weeks and I’m sure they are sucking up lots calcium to build their shells.. hopefully I can get it back to where I want it and then keep it there with Kalkwasser, I’m currently dripping 36oz per day but I’m ordering components to set up a dosing system for Kalkwasser so I can push the amount up to closely match evaporation.

My 5L container for Kalkwasser arrived yesterday, I would typically just DYI something like this but caught this one on a Black Friday sale for like $45 shipped so I treated myself :) I like that it matches my sump, it’s set up with john guest Fittings and graduated for easy estimation of amounts being used.

I picked up a new Taylor thermometer for cooking our turkey this year and it came with a free event timer.. it’s very small, works great for timed testing and even has a dry board for recording notes.

Speaking of dosing containers...nice score! I guess now I'm going to have to DIY some.

Haven’t even opened the box and I’m already having buyers remorse.. lol ;Facepalm Thinking I probably should have DIY one as well, a $3 dollar John guest bulkhead fitting and a cheap container would basically give me the same results at a fraction of the cost but so far I have been very frugal with this build so I guess I can splurge a little :D

This is awesome! I want one. The dry erase with it makes it.

EDIT: LOL, that was easy. Just ordered one for me and one for the spouse for Christmas.
