Rare left hand view of tank, I have only taken a couple pictures from this angle and virtually never view it like this as the tank was aqua scaped to view the other way..

I had a great day for sure and I’m super easy to shop for.. If it’s not for my tanks I don’t want it ;Hilarious

Still no P reading even with the Hanna URL.. I know I must have it but I guess it being consumed as fast as it’s produce also since my cycle I have never had a nitrate reading which I attribute to my rock.. my instinct is to throw tons of food in there but I’m teetering on a algae bloom as it is.

What sort of algae bloom are you expecting, I had this exact same discussion at my lfs today, we advised him to start feeding more and turn his skimmer off to let there be food for the corals as well?

That's gotta be scary. Like @Scurvy said... tip toeing down the line of not enough nutrients.

I’d be a paranoid mess if I were testing all zero’s. Been there during my first year in the hobby bouncing between dinos and overfeeding. Again if corals are happy I probably would’t change much. Probably dose a good amino of some kind.
Ill double back through the thread when I can.

I have bubble and hair algae, it’s been consistent for the last 6-8 months. you don’t notice it that much in pictures because it’s not growing on rock that much and I keep after it with manual removal, I do need to refresh my CUC soon.

I can clean my pumps and about 3-6 weeks they are covered

Same thing with back glass, I can scrape it clean and 3-6 weeks it’s covered..

bubble algae grows mostly on plastic and shells and such, notice the snail on back glass in above photo that’s completely covered in bubbles;)

That's gotta be scary. Like @Scurvy said... tip toeing down the line of not enough nutrients.

Im not sweating it to much, I’m very in tune to my tank and know when something is off.. I hand feed each of my corals and have a variety of quality foods for everything in the tank, the tank also gets broadcast fed small amounts 4-5 times a day sometimes more.

I’d be a paranoid mess if I were testing all zero’s. Been there during my first year in the hobby bouncing between dinos and overfeeding. Again if corals are happy I probably would’t change much. Probably dose a good amino of some kind.

Assuming there must be some N&P in the tank as well as enough nutrients to keep things happy as I’ve had some great growth over the last year, almost everything in the tank started as a small frag. I did just start Brightwell amino’s this week but I have been using selcon mixed with my food which I believe has aminos as well as WWC & LRS frozen which I also believe has added aminos since tank was started..

I am new to SPS, honestly in 3 decades of reefing this is the first tank I have ever tested for anything after the cycle. Kalkwasser and water changes have always been sufficient for my mixed LPS and softy tanks.
