Derasa once reach medium size will not attach to anything. IME at about 3-4 inches. They don’t like a lot of flow but as long as the flow does not flip the mantle over, it will be fine. I even keep my Crocea, Maxima and Noae in the think sand so they won’t attach to anything.
they do just fine not attaching to anything in our tank.

I love those noae's! I was going to buy one of reddish ones, but couldn't decide. That group of clams were pretty cool, hopefully the people who bought them will post some pics?
