Couple of Acan frags. Need to figure out how to take a decent photo with this iPhone.

Well after 15 years, my tank seams began to give. Came into office to find a large puddle of water. It took me quite a while to find the leak. Front left glass pane and seam were leaking slowly, but steadily.
So quickly transferred all contents to a 10 gal. and 20 gal. quarantine. The tank is old, so had to make a number of calls locally to find replacement 60 gallon. Found one!
Decided to buy Reef Savvy overflow and then drilled tank -- can you believe I have been using an over-the-side type overflow for this long! The Reef Savvy is awesome-- just wished I would have though to ascertain how far down from top edge it's water intake is -- too low for my framing in the stand. I don't want to see the surface of the water! Too late now!
I may place a little strip to cover the water surface...not sure....

The last shows the settling of the live sand --- wow, that took a long time to settle! Used Carib Sea.
Will get a new photo of current setup tomorrow.

Ok. Here is the current layout. I think it's time to frag out my massive Monti! He has beautiful electric blue polyps. Believe it or not, this started from a quarter-size frag. It is on both sides of the tank and I need to clear some real estate for other corals.

Ok. I still have yet to fix my water line issue -- laziness. I have some new corals. Need to photograph. Still cannot keep my alkalinity up -- barely gets to 5 dKh! Scratching my head.....

I'm thinking about going back to kalk. Or at least supplementing the two-part with kalk. I'm really hoping it will bring my alkalinity up. I just realized I have really not had any perceptible coraline growth for years! But lots of algae!

I will try to get one tomorrow. I'm having some lps issues -- actually a bit of die-off [emoji20]. Lost a 3-4 colonies of acans and 2 blastos. Very bummed.

Still trying to get my calcium and alkalinity in line. I have a very hard time keeping alkalinity above 5.5 dKh. I use BRS two-part and am once again adding kalkwasser. I really need to get a dosing pump, I think.

Could not help myself at Spring Bling in Las Vegas on March 4, 2017. Picked up a couple of sweet Blasto colonies and a couple Yumas. I keep saying that I will not get any new corals until my alkalinity issues are resolved.......oh well

I found that if I dose with buffer, rather than BRS Soda Ash, my alkalinity actually stays much more stable. Must have been very out of balance. Still haven't purchased that doser yet

Very happy to find out that my lazy filter sock change-out schedule is actually pretty close to what BRS found was the best!

I think I’m going to pull the trigger on the SB Reeflights Ultra! It looks like the best light for my under desk constraints.
Does anybody have any feedback on this light?
