On first glance from the video it looks like the eductors on the right side are causing so much surface agitation that it's sucking in air and causing bubbles to form from this (if that makes sense).

Edit: I see you did say you've had them the entire time, do you have the ability to get a video of the sump/plumbing leading to the tank. It may help envision what is happening.

Your setup looks absolutely gorgeous, and my absolute fav a queen angel! So jealous. One question though: short of diving in, how do you keep the dang thing clean?!??

I'm working on building out a large, deep tank as well, but not exactly sure how I'll manage the cleaning aspect of it short of donning a snorkel mask... what's your secret?

I know for me, i'd be doomed without the Mighty Magnet glass cleaner and a 36" siphon tube.

Also use a might magnet which is hands down the best magnet I have ever used. I also use a long siphon tube for sand and sponge head mop to clean side that I cannot with the magnet cleaner.

Alright, Mighty Magnet it is!!! Thanks a bunch! I'm sure I'll have more questions down the road, thanks for the helpful response!

They have magnets that can work up to insane 4” thickness. Mine I believe either works to 1 1/4 or 1 1/2”. I have 1” thick acrylic.
What glass thickness will that work on? I don't have a quote yet, but I'm assuming for the dimensions I'm going for will require 1" thick glass.

I had to change the plumbing on the outflow to sweeping 90s. These allowed for much smoother higher velocity flow.

What was the fix for the micro bubbles?

Picked up a set of MagSleeves today and threw them on the Mighty Magnet. Love them! Thing grinds so smooth now even for a super strong magnet! Also got both the wet and dry side for around $25 which is also nice!

So back on February 10th I ordered three fish from Marine Collectors. Well due to COVID and Delta Cargo’s embargo on animal transport my fish remain in Los Angeles ..... I got some update pictures today and they are being very well provided for!

Due to space constraints in my ridiculously small dungeon of a basement I decided to go a different route than my DIY algae scrubber. It ran awesome but just to dang hard to work around.
So I went the route of a Santa Monica Surf 8x! Liked the fact it took up no space in my basement as it floats in my sump. Have had it running for 6 days now and getting some green action!
