Well it took me about a day to decide on wich LED system to go with after seeing a YouTube video on this light. The AI and profilux were made for eachother. As soon as I get these bad Boys up and running I'll post a video. These LEDs are 3 different colors for each puck, and can be controlled from 0 to 100% on each color. Giving me sunrise, sunset, thunder storms, cloud covers, and moon.

When I get them up and programed I'll get some par readings.

how many power cords are there per light? Do the fans have one or is it combined. Woul like to know how crisp the color is, always hard to tell by photo. Looking at same unit. Sweetness

Just one power cord. It has a data cable that connects to the controller and that is what gives you full control. If you don't have a profilux you can get the lights with a controller.

I played with one of these over my tank. WAY COOL
so bright..
I have 50%; royal blue 0% whites pics somewhere in my photobucket account.

Well one thing that is a down side is that I have to order a USB port for my profilux or wireless port. I can't hook my computer and lights at the same time. The RS232 port is used for both. There goes another $100

Make sure you start the white at very low percentage (~50%). The blue doesn't matter much. These LEDs are more powerful than you think it is. So start slowly and watch your corals color and adjust the light to the right %. BTW, it's look good....................

Yeah I did a good bit of research. I'm going from a ATI fixture to this. Going to go real slow. Thanks

FYI, I have them on my 180g and I'm still feel like my white LEDs a little too much on my SPSs when I set them at 60%

where the update looking to by the 60 inch verstion for my 120 hows it going over there?

Well I can't do much with it until I get a USB port for my profilux. The LED uses the RS232 port and I can't use my computer to program it at the same time. I wish I would have known this, I would have bought the port at the same time. I don't know how long shipping takes from Canada.

hres pics from when Todd Cherry was at my house playing with his AI fixture at 3 am drinking beer and playing with the BLUE's
