thxI definitely don’t see anything wrong with dosing pods and would give a boost to diversity, maybe take it a step further and buy some live phyto to feed the pods aswell

was a long time ago, but was a pain in the butt,
just saturate your tanks/sumps with them should maintain population.

I feel Copepods are more than food. They also combat Algae issues and help in the cycle of the tank. I dose 3 containers of AlgaeBarn Ecopods every 6 weeks. It is to help make sure my Divided Leopard wrasse stays fat and healthy, BUT, it is also to make sure that the algae is kept back.copepods.. do I need them??

Pods are awesome, as long as you have something to eat them lol. Never had them eat corals, but have had them annoy them.I feel Copepods are more than food. That's the funny thing, corals eat them as well.Pods are awesome, as long as you have something to eat them lol. Never had them eat corals, but have had them annoy them.
Ohh yeah. My Duncan’s love pods. Zoas don’t like the amphipod walking all over them though, but the wrasses and Talbots damsels take care of that. That's the funny thing, corals eat them as well.
I hope you are wrong in Zoas not liking them because I have a frag of the WWC Illuminati coming.Ohh yeah. My Duncan’s love pods. Zoas don’t like the amphipod walking all over them though, but the wrasses and Talbots damsels take care of that.
In excess proportions. When I had no wrasses or damsels in the “front” 180 they annoyed them. Added the Talbots and it stopped lol.I hope you are wrong in Zoas not liking them because I have a frag of the WWC Illuminati coming.
i've never had to buy any.
