Hi all,

(this might feel like a double post as it links back to the main one so admins feel free to tell me to delete!)

I tried the gate valve mod and while it was a tonne better, I found I still had to adjust it every so often especially after turning off the pumps to feed corals or doing a water change I've always hated adjusting it and when the reefer is combined with the reef-mat it makes your emergency downflow valve bypass any filter floss which just ends up gunking-up all the sump equipment. I may have gone a bit overboard with the solution, it's a fully automated valve that just plops over the original valve and automatically tweaks the valve to maintain the perfect level.
I thought I'd share it here on the DIY bit of the group and show it off. Let me know what you think!

(If you want more detail, I've popped the link here to the main thread)

Thanks for sharing! I'm sure this is helpful for some of the people on here!

Hi all, I've had amazing feedback and even demand for this after sharing on a Facebook reefing group. I've even had investment offers! I'm surprised the thread here is so dead, maybe I posted it in the wrong area or maybe the idea isn't too good to the proper refers on here? Would love to hear some feedback!

Edit: this reply was to help bump up the thread as its quite hidden now. Hopefully this isn't too frowned upon!
