The baby Achilles is done with QT. I can technically add it to my tank right now. I’m going to try to wait until Saturday because that’s when the two-week observation period ends. It should be ich-free.

I completely forgot about the blasto. It was on the high rack receiving tons of par. I didn’t care and even completely forgot about its existence.

Today I remembered about it and attached it to my rockwork a few hours ago. It made me miserable, but it was a necessity evil. Whoever saw that embarrassing screenshot knows how I feel about blastos and bidding. Ha

@Miami Reef Im sure you've been asked this a billion times but what par do you keep your maxima clams in? Im hoping to get one after the year 2 mark.

350-450 par.

I’m sure they can do well with 300 par, but I like mine high.

This study shows Red Sea maxima clams were calculated to have the best photosynthetic and calcification rates at 475 par.

I’ll show you a pic very soon. You will see how it adds insult to injury. I literally got scammed. I didn’t want to bid on a blasto. It was not how it was supposed to go.

I want to participate in another auction to get some Goniopora. I saw a beautiful SpongeBob goni 2 weeks ago. He put a bid on it then got super angry at me because I kept one-upping him. He said I was driving the price up for nothing. (This was what was supposed to happen for the blasto).

Anyway, I left it alone and some other dude won it because Melech wasn’t paying enough attention. He should have left it to me.
