How often do you feed it with pellets? How big is it? I bought one and they told me it ate frozen and pellets, but it wasnt able to eat pellets as it was only like 2cm big, but it would nibble at frozen. It didn't work out in the end sadly, died of starvation... :(

Looks great! I hope you have success with the Mandarin. I've always wanted one but I'm not confident I'd be able to keep them alive long term.

He’s super small about 1” I tryed everyday for a week shutting off circulation so he could see it in front his face didn’t care kept pecking at pods the only thing that I saw did catch his attention was baby brine shrimp the frozen he did pick at those but not a lot he was a little skinny when I got him but is fat now!

I started by putting in 3 bottles of all kinds of pods letting them go crazy in my tank for 2-3 months after I saw a bunch of large pods I added him I’m confident he will be fine.
