Looking for advice on what I can add to my Waterbox 130.4. Currently stocked with:

Purple tang (4")
Kole tang (3")
Lamarck angel (5")
Blue throat trigger (4")
Pair of black clowns (3")

Everything gets along, leaves the inverts alone, and are all healthy. I have a starry blenny in QT right now but I can't decide if he's going in my nano or the big tank. Thank you in advance!

Fusilier damsels are a peaceful, active damsel. Flame or longnose hawkfish are interesting and vary personable. Fairy and flasher wrasses are bright and active.

Of course I have room for 1 more fish!

How are long nose hawkfish in a reef? Can't they be a bit nippy?

Never had a hawkfush nip at corals. However small inverts, (small shrimp as an example) and very small fish are at risk (like 1” goby or blenny or smaller)

Only to very tiny shrimp and very tiny fish. They are fine with modt everything else.

Lemonpeel is too big and active for 40g. Sixlines can be pretty aggressive.

Azure damsel would fit the bill.

Hello all downsizing to a 36 in cube by 22 tall from a 135. I am planning to keep my Midas blenny, six line wrasse, lightning maroon clown, 2 tiny yellow watchman, Chromis, and a swallowtail angel female. Should there be any problems? Would like to add a royal gramma?

Sixlines can be problematic toward other fish that claim a territory by the rockwork, such as a gramma.

Thanks. We’ve had One Eyed Willie for years and he’s been a model citizen. Think because of his handicap it’s tempered him down [emoji57]

I can’t decide!! They are all sooo pretty!! Every time I read this forum I find more I want which can only mean one thing. That this small tank isn’t going to do for too long. Anyway I think I may have narrowed down my list but need some help to perfect it.

55 gallon currently stocked with 2 clown and CUC including an emerald crab.

I am thinking the following to round it out.
1- Angel - either a cherub, flameback or flame
1- Flame Hawk
1- Chalk Bass or Royal Gramma
1 - Diamond goby
1- wrasse - either 6 line, McCosker, or yellow coris

So here is where you come in.
In general how is the list?
Is 7 to many?
Any replacements?

Secondly of those with options which would work best?

And third- what order should they be added? The clowns have been in since Dec 9th.

Thanks!!

The only fish that isn't a good idea is the sixline wrasse, they can become pretty aggressive.

Any combination should be fine. Add the angel last.

6 line wrasse are very aggressive and there’s a small chance a flame hawkfish will eat your CUC (emphasis on small), so just keep him well fed and go with one of the other wrasses instead of a 6 line and you should be good. I would add the angel last, but the order of the rest of them doesn’t matter too much
