Hey guys, so I've had the AI Prime for a few months now and my corals have been doing a LOT better than they were before. The only problem is, I'm not too happy with the growth yet. They are growing, but not as fast as I'd like 'em to grow. I'm getting lots of different opinions on what my lights should be like, but I haven't been able to choose the right one yet. I'm hoping I can come to a conclusion with you guys here. :)

Alright, so I have a 29 Biocube, and I'd like to make it into a mixed reef (mainly LPS and softies, but would like to try my hand at SPS at some point). I currently have GSP, a hammer, frogspawn, and 3 frags of zoanthids. I also have a green bubbletip anemone in the mix (if you look at my other threads, I have an ongoing thread on help with my nem. I think lighting may be an issue, which is why I'm here).

I've been having some algae issues in the tank as well (it's mainly this green, fuzzy algae that grows on the rocks. I scrubbed them about two months ago, but it seems like they're starting to slowly come back).

Here is my current lighting schedule:

I was recommended to bring up my peak to 8 hours, so I'm adding 30 minutes everyday until I reach it (I currently have about 7 hours peak time). I was also recommended to bring down my reds and greens to 5 instead of the 30 I originally had (maybe that's why I was getting algae?)

And here are the other presets I have saved in my Prime too:

The one I have now is the one from February 9.

Alright guys, have at it. Let me know whether I should keep my schedule, modify it more, change settings or presets, change the light percentages, or switch over to a whole new schedule altogether.

Help me figure this out once and for all! ;Happy

its hard to advise someone else's light schedule without knowing their aquascape coral placement etc. What I can say is I have a 32 gallon and running 1 AI prime I got decent par readings but I am no expert
I think I maxed out the blue and royal blue though

Nice tank! :)

And I see. How are your corals growing under this light? And would a pic of my current tank set up help then?

Anyone else have any other opinions on what light would be good? Some people were telling me the one from BRS was good, but I'd like other opinions too
