I hate my current rockwork so much. It's also not very secure. I loved the arch thing I did just before this scape. I was unable to replicate and this time just tossed it all in. To redo it would be a pain.

. I don't know if he does his own work. His Tank rivals a chemistry lab as well he does not have to do a thingSeems like a good balance of spots for Coral. and hiding spots for fishScape for my new tank.

Pretty happy with this design, looks naturalistic, has lots of light and shadow with lots of spots for corals, islands, maybe a christmas tree rock in the future, swimming space is to the front and high with lots of habitat space to the back.
Right now it's held together with superglue which I don't consider permanent, I'll be getting in there with E-400 mortar this week to properly lock it together and fill in all the little gaps in the contact points to strengthen everything.
Would love some comments.
I guess My friends were not Civilized. As a matter of fact I did not ever lay my eyes on many at allVery Nice it has a lot of swim through's and caves without looking unnatural.

Thank you. The picture looks a bit flat, but it does have a lot of dimension to the scapeVery Nice it has a lot of swim through's and caves without looking unnatural.
The rockscape looks awesome. One thing you may want to plan for is ensuring the rockscape is modular enough so that pieces can me removed for maintenance if needed.Scape for my new tank.

I would also caution against going with a 100% MarcoRock / dry rock setup. If I were you I would complement the above with live ocean sand or a bunch of live rock in the sump.
It looks like your tank is off to a good start. It is hard to tell from the pictures but you may want to adjust so that you have enough room to scrape the glass all around. I would put at minimum a fist size of space from any glass surface. Then again, I am in the camp of people who like to keep their back glass panel clean (I scrape the back glass once a week).Yeah that's in two pieces the bigger one is a little heavy but not too bad and I can one hand lift it fairly easily and getting easier.
The sand I went with was specifically Carribsea Ocean Direct original grade and I also got some preseeded ceramic biomedia from a mature sump in the pump vault at the back of my setup. In addition I seeded phytoplankton and copepods late in my cycling before I added fish.
So far I've had what I'm fairly certain is a diatom bloom that I added four trochus snails and three red leg hermit crabs to deal with. I've yet to see anything else bloom though I'm starting to see something pinkish orange very faintly on some of the rocks, which may or may not be the start of coraline as I seeded that too and it's been five weeks now.

looks great my only concern would be the weight of it, and maybe the overall size if you don't have a container that can fit it if you have to pull it out with anything attached to move the tank.
Funny enough, max dimensions of it is 34”x16” and only weighs 30lbs. Just picked it right up and placed it right into the tank quite easily by myself. When loaded with water, probably would help to have two people but it’ll be manageable still for me.looks great my only concern would be the weight of it, and maybe the overall size if you don't have a container that can fit it if you have to pull it out with anything attached to move the tank.
Yup! I ended up doing one piece because it’s only 30lbs and it can lift up and out easily. Was able to place it inside the tank by myself. And so far clearances look great. Kept it 34”x16” to ensure I cleared the sides.Looks great. If you can build that from 2-3 large pieces that would be ideal. That way you can more remove the aquascape if you need to scrub rock, dip coral, or catch fish. Make sure you have enough space all around so that you can scrub the glass even after coral has grown in.
