Hi all. Tried for days to hook my new p4 up to my mesh network already knowing that odds were against me. That failed so I bought another router just for the P4, a simple Netgear nighthawk like others had suggested. It connected to the new router network with ease, green light now on, but can’t access via internet. It does connect when I’m home and on the same network as my P4? Like the title says, I’m an idiot at this stuff.

Hi! These guys can help: @Ditto @Lasse @BZOFIQ @HuneyBear

I was in a similar spot a couple weeks ago. I have the eero 6 pro routers for my home network. In the end, I returned the Nighthawk after the R2R Genius Bar saved me from smashing my P4 with a hammer. . Hang in there.

PS - once you do get connected, GHL is wicked useful and easier than it seems. I am so happy I made the decision to switch.

Ha! Yes, I was so frustrated! I was *this close* to throwing in the towel and selling the whole darn thing. Mostly still in the box! The crew above will respond to the bat-signal. They’ll have you up and programming in no time. But be warned - you may owe them a round (or two) of post Covid beverages...

Looks like you've got your P4 setup correctly on your home network and via its own hotspot connection.

Next step (if you haven't done it already) is to create your myGHL account here: www.myGHL.com

This video will guide you the rest of the way:

Please let us know if you continue to have issues and the Zen Masters indicated above can weigh in!

You have a MyGHl account setup correct? Type 192.168.1.3 in your internet search bar and it should pop up a log in box. Then you enter the admin / Starfish unless you have changed those already. Then it will go through and setup the login for myghl. If it doesn’t go through then you may have to get into myghl and make sure it’s in full access read and write mode.

I can also do a zoom of Skpe season if it easier to communicate also to make this easier.

Your device says it is 192.168.1.3 in the one screen shot you should be able to now open up the GHL a connect App and add the device. Did you already create a myGHL account?

On your laptop or phone can you open up a web browser and https://192.168.1.3. Did you also ping the device also?
