I have a problem though! ARGG!! Posting these pics made me realize that that the light rack will not work! The tank has an external overflow! Glad it hasn't been started yet!

Hey you need to make me one of those covers! LOL! Good idea about the spa jet returns! Does your sump not over flow when power gets cut?

Nope no problem with overflows when the power is cut.... Just make sure you allow enough room in the sump
To allow for it.... Shouldn't be a big deal... As for the cover man no big deal lmk a size....;)

I had the same image pictured in my head and ran into the same problem..... I came up with either a pipe up each side in the center of the tank and run it across the top, but then I pictured it looking like a roll bar in a truck haha.... I went adjustable light hanging cables and hung it from the cieling.....

WOW!!!!! thats Gonna Be ******........Rimless is so COOL and Exactly what I want to upgrade to but Im thinking a 30x30x18 Cube. Gonna wait and try my hand with my Nano first.

Any benefits of having an external overflow vs internal??? Is it mainly for aestetics??????

Yes external gives me more room in the tank and a nice look. I will have (4) Vortechs on the back wall and that is all you will see in the tank.
