New 135g Miracles Rimless!!

I have a double window but it has the metal frame down the middle.

You seem to be a bit more calm than I would be Rev. I know there's nothing you can do, but my heart goes out to ya.

Wow that sucks! Hope you figure out how to get it inside lol. It looks like a beautiful tank! Anyway to pop some panels off the stand without messing it up?

The stand is so well put together and it looks like the panels are glued and then screwed. Figured out that the screws are not really holding it together so no way to take it apart.

To be honest I really don't want a stand that I have to tear apart to get in and out of the house. I am calm because there is nothing I can do.

Even if I remove the trim it will not fit. BUMMED! :(

I am not the handy man type but does this part of the door come off or can it? Is it just a little 1" piece that is glued or nailed on? If I can remove this piece from both sides of the door then I may have about 1/4" clearance.

Pardon the dirty door.

Looks like I can get behind that little 1" piece but I am not sure just yet. Any ideas?

Yeah it should just be nailed on there... Even if you break it getting it off you can buy that at home depot already primered white just have them cut the lengths you need and screw the new one in... Pretty painless....;)

Yeah just pull it off, it is probably pin nailed like crazy from the other side though so you'll need to take some wire dykes and snip them off.

Well it looks like this is not going to come off unless I tear it off.

Hey Rev. Try taking a razor knife and cut down the crease where it hits the larger trim on both sides. It looks to be door stop. If you tear it up it is avail at all the big box stores. If it is attatched or part of the other trim you can cut it off with a multi master tool. If you have one or know someone that does. Wish I was closer. I would come do it for you. Good luck.

them one inch pieces are nailed on,cant remember the name at the moment,i think its called a door jam,you should be able to take it off with a crowfoot or prybar.it may break and have to replace it.
maybe call in a door guy and send the bill to derek.it would be cheaper than sending it back.

Well tank and stand are covered up in the garage! Just what I wanted! :D NOT!!! Oh well....

The door jamb is like connected further in the inside of the door frame some how and I would have to tear like the insides out and more. That alone is a job in itself and I am just beat down at this point. :(

BTW the tank and stand are superb....

They must be on July 4th vacation, no response to calls or email.
