We will keep corals, probably lps and softies unless we are able to upgrade the lights. We tried some sps in our other tank with stock LED’s and It’s not been successful. We will upgrade those lights before the new tanks lights likely. I was supposed to upgrade those lights before I bought a new tank... oops lol

Lol... I approve of the bigger water volume! I'm so afraid to try sps.

He 100% maintains his tank. He also likes to frag...

How old is your son? That frogspawn is massive! Does it sting other corals? Mine is SUPER aggressive. I put it in a corner by itself in the new tank.

We decided to go with a mimic puffer if you haven't seen those before. Probably the coolest fish in our cube. Peaceful and great to watch, it doesn't mess with anything.

Great advice! I was unaware of the false floor. We will inspect that when we switch the back stuff out.

I was trying to decide between one medium powered powerheads, or two small powerheads alternating. What do you use?

We have a Hydor Koralia 240 but you might want to consider a step up for the 32G. You could also invest in something a little nicer with a wave controller. We have a lot of euphyllia so it is important for us to have good water flow and it has taken some adjusting to get it right using both pumps.

He's 11. Been doing this one solo since he was 9. Yes, the frogspawn packs quite a sting. The nem moved away from it.

Are those actually file fish? I saw one recently and was told that's what it was. Do they eat Aiptasia?
They look really cool!

That's awesome! My son (5) is adamant that the 60 gallon is his, and that the biocube is my handyme down from him. :) . Hopefully he follows your son's trajectory.

My frogspawn was totally cool chilling, then suddenly got big enough to reach 3 corals on the same day. I had to rearrange the aquascape. It did some damage in those few hours. I was shocked.

Our son is just 2 so he is still just fascinated watching the “fishies”. We keep a simple freshwater 16G planted Biocube in his room.

That's gorgeous! Our biocube started as my son's second birthday present. It's so nice when they enjoy it with you. I find it much easier to justify a purchase cause my son likes it than when I like it. I think I've just started pointing out the things I like for him to ask for. ;Hilarious ;Joyful

Yes it is a file fish. I couldn't tell you if they eat aptasia, we never had it in this tank. I have read that they took on traits of the puffers and swim with puffers for protection against preditors.

I love our Steve's LED's as well, great lights. Last time I talked to the guys at Steve's the actually signed up on R2R. So you have support here as well if you ever go that route.
