Hi this is my build thread for the start of my upgrade from a fluval Evo after 1.5 years to a 48x18x20 tank with aluminium stand. I will update my progress as it begins.

Updates to the tank build, added rock water and sand and my clowns from the Evo and some arka aquatics nite out 2 and special blend to start the cycle and nitrates have been detected, not running any lights yet. And my sump is still to be plumbed in so heater and wave pump just keeping the tank going atm

Have plumbed my sump in and added my corals after letting it cycle and settle in everything seems to be happy apart from the wave pump seems too strong, it’s a jebao cp40 and I have it on one speed on gyre mode.

I saw a lot of people replying about how close it is to the bed. Is it possible to turn it the other way so the longer part is against the left wall? (Just an option)

sorry sadly not that was the only location, the left wall is just too short to fit it and there is a door that would open into it if placed there. ive shifted the bed a foot and bit away from the tank so its not just as close to the tank. thanks for the reply to my thread :)
