You ditched the primes? :(
"You ditched the Primes" never?
I run primes on my 20g nano, 45g frag system and what was a 30g remote fuge.
I wanted to run this system with all gen5 blues. Once I moved the 2
I had next to each other the colors realy started to show.
I now have 6 backup 16hds for said systems and may start another 20g nano.
Anyway my plan is to replace all 12, currently running 6 with the Luxdium pucks once they are ready. They have done the non hd models already and are working on the hd's now. At around $85 a puck it is affordable and I do not need to purchase new lights. Thats the plan anyway.

Also I will add 1 more 16hd to the 45 for 4, and 1 more on the 30g for 2. So I will be back to running 8 after today with 4 spairs.

Also looking for 1-2 more 15 blues to have as a backup.

This is the first time in 30+ years that I am running all leds on my systems so I am learning the led way.
So far I like what I see in both products.

That was my issue with them in the front room, does that have a diffuser? the one i was going to get is that one with a diffuser, and didn't appeal to me, but I like what you have there! Do you have any information on them?

Couple pics I just took. Radions are looking good at current settings.
Just increased scheduled intensity from 55 to 60%. I was at 55% for a couple months.
I need to borrow my friends par meter or just buy one, lol.

Yea commimg from halides I never even considered one.
I think with all the different leds a par meter becomes an essential part of your equipment.

It does. With halide, it was just what bulb and what height (how bulb was driven also) and we knew it would work.

With LED, there are so many LEDs of different spectrums that fool the human eye for brightness, we really have no way to tell if it is too "hot" or not. Same applies for lights over my macros. The par meter was very helpful in setting those LED lights up. Due to how "bright" they looked at lower settings, I thought I was good and was not. Macro was alive, but not growing, as it should. Used par meter to find out that my caulerpa was at 82. Yup, 82 and it looked like noon during a nice clear day. Cranked the lights up to about 250 and it is now growing like it should. Without a par meter, I would have never thought the lights were the issue.

I scraped the back wall and overflow. Both have alot of red algae. Some is coralline, turf, and some red slime on top.
I thought it was red coralline so I just let it go.
I added some mb7 and 1/2dose of red slime remover.
I will vacuum it out when it settles.
I will need to do this a couple more times over the next month.

Tank looks brighter already, lol.
