Hi my name is Toxic enigma and I'm a coral addict
I started keeping freshwater tanks 13 years ago and planted tanks 8 years. I dabbled with brackish a few times.
I think the problem really started 8 months ago when I decided to setup my first reef using a 14 gallon tank I got when I first started keeping fish. It wasn't anything fancey just a hob filter with a skimmer for filtration and some screw in cfl 50/50 bulbs in the stock hood for light.
Before I knew it I needed more room for corals and ended up setting up a 29 gallon with a 10 gallon sump that became an sps dominated tank.
Now I'm tempted to tear down my 55 gallon afrcan chiclid tank and convert it to a soft and lps tank with a hob refugium and skimmer.
