Do new t5 bulbs take time to "break in" to reach their true kelvin temp? I just put 6 ATI bulbs in my sunpower and 3 of them are blue plus, 2 coral plus, and a purple plus. It looks very very white to my eye- like 10k. I'm thinking of adding a 4th blue plus and taking 1 coral plus out, and also adding a meso blue quanta bar to make corals pop more.

What do you think?

I don’t recall what spectrum output corresponds to the bulb name, but I aim for “Actinic” bulbs to get the blue I am after.

I have always wished that the folks would name there bulbs to match the Kelvin temperature to help us out, but they don’t listen to me anyway.

Flat blue
Deep blue
Almost blue
I have tried a few and agree some are whiter than blue.

GL- bump

agree 100%

I did see somewhere that blue+= 20k and coral plus= 15k.

I am impressed with the PAR output of over 400 i’m seeing with a 6 bulb unit where there is acropora or monti. Same spot with 2 Kessil A360’s and a quanta bar I was seeing 280-300.
