Hello all! New here to the forum... my husbands military, but we've had Saltwater tanks since before he was enlisted. Out friend is PCSing (military move) with short notice and now.... our tank is going to be on a bio overload until we can find homes for some things.

Our poor 32 gallon biocube now has 13 fish! And an insane amount of coral... everything is actually pretty happy for now. We will just have to keep up with the filters and skimmer, lol

But I'm wondering about some of the corals we've never had before - the Montipora - are they too close to the lighting? We can swap their rock with the one under it.

And then there's a mystery green thing (2nd picture by the Conch) that he broke off, I don't know what it is, where to put it, or how to adhere it onto something... I placed it on a rock, but a crab knocked it off.

Anything else coral wise look like it needs moved? He's more into SPS and LPS while we had polyp and soft corals.

not sure about the green thing, but the montipora does look like it's not happy, try moving him down more. Hopefully others will chime in with more info for you :)

Thank you, we only got the stuff about 6 hours ago, it's still stinging from the transport and super glueing onto our rock. I'm assuming it'll chill in a little bit.

So looking more at the green thing - thats its side. It reminds me of a Duncan.... But I'm really not sure since nothing has extended from it yet.
It's soft in outer texture and slimy....but hard at the core

Got a bit of a better picture - night lights are on and it's extending a little -- if anyone can help me ID this lil green guy?
