Hello all! I have 6 years marine keeping experience but I have never had any coral. So I pulled together all the random junk I had( not really junk just spare no name supply's and randoms) and built a small tank! Currently cycleing it and monitoring all perimeters so I have a nice baseline. So far, 27.63L in the entire system, evap loss of .06 liters per 24h period, salinity ranging from 34-36, holding steady at 80°F no heater but a 120W as back up, modified protein skimmer, 1/2" electrical liquid tight fittings and hose, all schedule 80 pvc, a coral life 12" light, and a "SunSun 360gph 4 stage canister filter with internal uv purifier. Still meet to add some nice rock and such before population. Any input, advice or critique is appreciated!! Corals are a whole new area for me so please dumb it down at first haha
