Hi from Pittsburgh area, everyone!

I was hoping for my first post to be about the Nano tank I’ve been cycling - it’s my first. I’ll do a post in the build forum next, I’m adding livestock now. R2R has already been a great help and I can’t wait to participate more!

Unfortunately, today I found a many-legged hitchhiker on (well… in?) my LR. I managed to snap a pic. I was planning to just pull him out of the tank since he’s an unwelcome guest, but it turns out he shrinks right back into his hole in the LR at the slightest disturbance.

Thank you!
Welcome!

Glad you joined and glad you already have ID on your worm... While bristle worms not harmful, I just have to share this icky video of someone with WAY to many of them (and this is why I remove any we catch):

Ok that’s unbelievable. I can’t imagine how much neglect led to that mess, but I certainly will keep an eye out.
Thanks for sharing the most disturbing thing I’ll probably see today!
— and no that’s not a challenge to post something worse! Haha —

Holy cow!!! How long was it before they decided there was a problem. Maybe when they couldn't even see the gravel anymore.

When people start sending you messages about buying corals, it's because they are confusing you with this guy, LOL. You might need to change your name one day!

CornBredCorals.com
Wow - thanks for the heads up on this! I’ll change it when I can to avoid confusion, looks like there’s a delay before I’m allowed to do so.
I’ve been using that name online for 10+ years for various forums, so random there’s another one in reefing of all things!
Maybe he was raised in Nebraska too…

[edit/update: nope, not even close lol]
