Hey everyone, my name's Art. I got into the hobby about 6 months ago after a friend of mine moved out of my house and took his beautiful reef with him.

I started with a Nano and that lasted all of 2 months, so I bought a 92 gallon corner tank that I had to have and when I set it up, the scratches drove me crazy and the optics of the bow front didn't sit with me too well.

So here I am now with my new tank, it's 125 gallons and kinda empty right now. The upgrade stretched me thin on my allowed budget for the setup, but I'm still working on getting the lighting and corals together. It took me two days to build the stand and 8 hours to plumb and fill the tank. I used cycled rock, sand, and water too speed things up.

A little update. I've got the lighting almost finished. I'm running 3x250 watt 14k Phoenix bulbs with bootleg actinics. I'm going to finish up the lighting with another set of power LEDs.

I also started putting in some of the fish and corals. So far I have 2 clowns, a yellow tang, and a blue tang.

Corals are scarce at the moment seeing as though it's a big step between a nano and a 125 gallon. i experimented with some photography today, and thanks to some help here at R2R I was able to capture a few images of some pieces that I've put into the tank.

That bar is SWEET!! I could sit and have a drink and watch the tank all day. Great idea.
