Hello All, my name is Paul.

I first got into saltwater about 25+ years ago, but stepped away from the hobby around 10 years back. In 2022, the urge returned and I eased back in with freshwater. I now have a 120-gallon cichlid/rainbowfish tank, but I’ve been keeping an eye on all the changes in the saltwater world.

I figured I’d eventually dive back in—and sure enough, I started a new reef tank a few months ago. This time, I promised myself I’d make things easier by automating as many manual tasks as possible.

It’s amazing to see all the new tech out there—and wild to see how much livestock prices have climbed! Looking forward to the new adventure.
