Put my new Orange striped Timor in tank yesterday around Noon and he immediately dove down to hide. Was hoping to see him out today but still no luck! How long have some of you waited for this?

If he's buried in the sank, it could be at least a day to come out. My lubbock's fairy wrasse that I added a few days ago is still hiding in a small cave he found - he's only been out twice to eat. When they get hungry they'll become more adventurous!

That's pretty normal. Honestly he's probably coming out very confused around 2-3 AM, then going back to bed because it is dark. If you spot him out early in the morning feed the tank, and feed progressively later to train them to stay up later in anticipation of food. I did this with my current timor and radiant, and with my various Halichoeres, Macropharyngodon, and Pseudojuloides in old setups to keep them out and about for longer periods of time.

Wrasses are extremely greedy, food motivated fish, so they quickly learn to stay up for a good meal.

I'm usually at work 0830 and off 6-8 pm. I feed them when I get home so my schedule is crazy. 730-830 pm is normal feeding for everyone else...

Even did an early snack yesterday around 6 pm just to see if he would come out then fed other half around 830 when I normally do. Got home tonight and fed around 815 and still haven't seen the little guy. I've read/heard they can hide until feeling safe to come out but I'm just eager to see him

Again, take a peak in the tank around 2 AM or so, you'll probably see him out and about.

Once he's comfortable he will come out though. If he's on West coast time from being at a wholesaler there for a while, while you're on east coast time, then what you do to make them stay up later is feed some frozen mysis about 15 minutes before the wrasse goes to sleep. It will stay up about 30-45 minutes later than normal looking for food. Continue to do that each day until the wrasse is on your time. They learn quickly that staying up means food. My timor and radiant started out waking up at 4 AM and going to bed at 4 PM, now both wake up at 10 AM when the blue lights come on and go to bed at midnight when the blue lights go out.
