welcome Joe and great start!
first question, what do you want it to be?
second, what light do you have?
Best of luck!!

Idk what I want it to be because the tank was started without me so I don't really have a baseline in where I want it to go because I don't really know about what I have if that makes since I just want to add on would hate to throw away a happy tank bc it doesn't fit my style I just really want bright vibrant colors and some cool inverts I have an ai 16 hd light more info in pics

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!

My first tank was from a friend as well! A little 10 gallon. I still use it as a sump haha.

Only tip from me is try to develop a good maintenance routine. I take a day a week to do water changes and testing. As well as any other things that need attention. It really helps with stability and will lead you to success.
