I am new here and new to saltwater tanks. I have been up for three weeks but added a fish to my system already. I have something on my live rock can anyone help me identify

Live stuff growing on live rock. Coraline is the purple. Welcome to R2R, its the best site for everyone to judge and question your selections :) Just kidding. You have done yourself a service of eliciting the best advice there is on the web, and perhaps anywhere, to guide you on your way to a successful/enjoyable experience in this hobby.

When I get close it goes back in a little hole

Welcome to R2R, I agree with the above. You have some healthy coraline growing and I is hard to see what the seconded and last picture are:) Congratulation on setting up your system.

What type of live rock do have? A closer look on new information you either have a shrimp or a crab in the second picture

*Welcome to Reef2Reef @Milwmarine !* It's really had to see anything but rock on those photos. The last picture may have a mushroom coral on it.Best of luck with your new aquarium.
