I’m curious what the normal price for the k7 v3 pro is. They currently have them listed at $189 apiece, but it says sale and the normal is 279. Wasn’t really planning to buy RIGHT now, but that is a significant sale. Anyone know if 189 is really the normal price, or is that actually a sale price? I’m not super familiar with them but I know some stores constantly advertise a “sale” price.

Last I checked price was $209 for the kit with mounting arm so I would say $189 is a sale price. Promo code REEF2REEF used to get a 7% discount so may want to try that also. The only time I saw them higher was on black Friday when they jacked the price up the offered the black Friday deal at the regular price :thinking-face:
For what it's worth I run 6 over a 6ft 180g tank and am very happy with them. Corals are looking good and growing better than they ever have. Clams on the bottom under 300 - 350 par are happy also.

It’s still 209 with mounting kit. I was looking at the model without the mounting kit. So if it wasn’t recent that you saw them at that price, I’m assuming 189 (209 with mounting kit) is the normal price and they just make their site show them on sale all the time.

Also thanks for the code. It worked. Not quite gonna bite the bullet just yet, but I’m thinking in the near future I’m gonna pick up a few. Hard to beat less than 550 for 3 of them comparing them to anything else. I mean 2 primes are 500 and nowhere near enough light for a 90.

It's the sale price. I've only seen two or three times that there wasn't a sale going on but the sale does vary. $189 is probably one of their better sales although in the past I believe I have seen it as low as $179 on the older models. Definitely worth it in my opinion!

Would you say the controllability through the app is worth it/easy to use? I’m familiar with ai app and how that works, would you say it’s similar? And how about color? So hard to judge without seeing it in person!

I don't have any of the app controlled units - yet. I have 3 V3 and a Pro II that all use controllers.
