I've finally gotten my tank in a good, stable place and am finally getting coral growth. It will be 2 years old on Sunday! It's an RSR 250 so around 54 gallons in display.

So now I'm running into a "too many corals" problem. Especially on the sand.

I can see that several of the corals are going to start bumping into each other soon. Anyone have any suggestions about re-arranging things?

The high point on the rock on the right has small colonies of acans and zoas. The acans are limping along but the zoas are growing quite well. Should I dedicate the rock to one or the other? Acan garden or zoa garden?

I need a spot for the gorgonian in the front right corner. I had to move her because she was getting attacked by another coral. But where?

Yes, what I really need is a bigger tank but I don't have the space for one so this is it. Gotta admit, after two long years of hard work I'm pretty happy with the results.

I think it looks beautiful as it is although I appreciate the situation your in.

I’m in the same boat and have sort of decided to let the corals fight it out, with just an occasional bit of intervention from me.

Or just buy a bigger tank! Lol

I love the color contrasts. White sand-dark rock. Red shrooms-blue sponge. Green star polyps-red gorgonian.

Looks great! Did you end up going with the Crystal Reef Sump? What does that look like? I am thinking about getting one for my 170.
