My tank daily reads the same numbers, I test twice a day and they are stable. But prior to all this there was alot of fluctuation. Granted I have not added anything, lights are not changing, etc, not mad at it by anymean seeing that the tank is doing great but just want to understand a little better.

My tank tests 8.3 dkh 415ca 1380mg late day, and 8.1, 425ca, 1380 mg late morning.

I feed regular. Light broadcast, direct feed 1 to 2x week (no real schedule here)

Tank stays between. 02-.05 Po4 and 10-12.5 No3. (Don't test this as often as others but it's consistent)

Bi-weekly water changes.

My question I'm trying to really answer is, is this healthy with no growth, or is this just one of those healthy and enjoy it, they will have a growth spirt when they're ready type of things?

I will note that everything in the tank is notably thicker, vibrant or larger even for myself who sees it everyday.

Last question? I have some frags sitting on a frag rack and a goni i want to start acclimating to more par, would this be an ideal time to start moving on this?

I'm not sure I understand the disparity between these two statements:

My apologies, what i meant was while my numbers were fluctuating previously yes I can note noticeable growth to date.

What i am asking in when these numbers are showing consistently the same for extended periods of time is that showing a healthy tank with no growth meaning, shouldnt your tank be showing some type of consumption (fluctuation) still.

Lack of any alk decline suggests low growth in hard corals and coralline algae. Soft corals may still be growing fine.

Do you have a picture of the tank?

I assume slow growth and the reason i ask is because I noticed a bit of a growth spirt here recently, so just trying to figure out normality and expectations.

Demand looks pretty low and may be satisfied by the water change.

Low pH also slows growth.

Do you dose any sort of trace elements? That might spur growth.

I had not, I have some brightwell that I was considering using. I have dosed magnesium right around the time coraline was starting up because of heavy consumption (you helped me out in that thread if you recall). Occasionally I dose all for reef, but really waterchanges are regular. I just like to keep tabs on it.

I have noticed a slight drop in my PH, and was not sure what I may be doing different or if it is just working through a phase.
