OK I started a build thread a while back but never finished updating it so I'll do that now.
The tank started with a 190 gallon acrylic tank build by ProClear Aquatics. It measures 66" wide, 33" deep (front to back) and 20" tall with a coast to coast overflow in the back.

I built the stand to have a 10" shelf around the tank (more on that later)

Tank was moved into the house, filled up to let it start running the "crap" out of the system. (Bottle of beer in foreground for size reference)

Tank is drilled for a closed loop using a Reeflo Dart pump pushing through a Oceans Motions 4 way. This was before hte hangers were adjusted

Canopy had to be built twice for a mis-measurement on my part...fun stuff

Added a garnite countertop to the shelf

Added the lights, 2 LumenBright Reflectors with 250W XM 20,000K metal halides being pushed by Lumatek Ballasts. It's setup to go to 400W with only a bulb change if I ever want more light. (Bottle of wine for size reference). Actinic lighting is through two Par38 LEDs.

It's a mess but coral and fish finally made it in there. Yes go ahead and fasp...I love LPS ;)

In this one you can see the dinner plate size chalice, I can't get a really good picture of it though.

I have three of these chalices. One is larger than dinner plate size, one is dinner plate size (in my main tank) and a smaller one....maybe 6" across. These pics were taken under t-5s'. I put a piece of eggcrate on one for a size reference and it's had a lot of growth since then.

Awesome tank. Great jobon the stand too, I love the shelf. How long has it been setup now? Fish?

It has been running for about three months but it wasn't officially done until this month.

As far as fish go right now I have a pair of A. Percula Clowns, a Desjardini Sailfin Tang, Powder Brown Tang, Regal Tang, and a pair of green chromis. The Powder Brown has to come out, he's not playing nice and then I'll start deciding on some more fish.

Update:

The stocking list is now as follows: A. Percula Clowns, a Desjardini Sailfin Tang, Powder Brown Tang, Regal Tang, a pair of green chromis, five lyretail anthias, and a starry blenny

I've also removed my metal halide lighting and gone with four AI SOL. They've only been on a week and are still set at W 20%, RB 25%, and B 25% for 5 hours. I love the look of these so much better than the MH.
