Official Prayer Thread!! (Prayer Request)

Thank you all for your prayers! Praise report; Avery decided to come early and the c-section went off perfect. My wife and daughter are doing great! Praise God! 20190407_233744.jpg
Congrats dude !!

So, on the 5th I flew out to Las Cruses New Mexico. My mom was in ICU. On the 16th she passed. My dad is slowly crumbling. Prayers and positive vibes are needed.

Hope all is going as well as can be expected. My dad went through it hard when we lost my mom. Don’t forget it isn’t over even when he seems back to “normal” little nuances of his day, week and year will take him to a place he has yet to feel. Be there for him as you mourn also.

I would like to ask for prayers for my mother who is battling a nasty lung disease. A couple of months ago we went up to the newly purchased family cabin for a nice getaway weekend, which turned out to be the start of a long road for my family. My mom was coughing and complaining of shortness of breath so eventually we ended up in the ER at Big bear. They worked her up for PE and CHF which concluded that she had pulmonary edema causing her shortness of breath. She was put on diuretics and transferred down the hill via ambulance. Long story short, she has been getting worked up for months and now has a Tentative diagnosis of interstitial lung disease. If your not medical, that means the tissues between her small airways and blood vessels has fibrotic scarring. This is usually seen in environmental exposure populations but she didn’t work around any of the common agents nor smoke. This information is key because that pushes the work up towards autoimmune. Which is coming back negative. You would think that negative results are a good thing, but in this case they are not. If you don’t know a cause you can’t plan how to fix it... So she is headed towards my worst fear, which is idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis... prognosis is usually 3-5 years depending on progression of diseases, which varies from patient to patient. This weekend she had an exacerbation of her condition, landing her in the Er and ultimately admitted for emergent biopsy to look for a cause. I have seen many sick patients with chest tubes and intubations because I was an EMT, ER tech, and now PA student, but man does it take your breath away when it is your own family... I just ask for prayers that the patho or micro report comeback with something so we can develop a plan and not head toward IPF and lung transplant... thanks!

Praying for wisdom for her doctors and return of health for your mom.

+2 more prayers from our home.

My husband's sister died yesterday. She was unwell, but we didn't expect her to die so fast. Since we are not religious, I thought maybe I'd ask for prayers for her soul and for my husband who is very broken up. He took care of his sister all his life. This is why I'm taking off a couple of days.

I'm sorry and consider the prayers for all heading out now.
